Software Update- Updates within a specific version
As part of our software maintenance, we provide you with free updates within an ORCA AVA version.
You can receive service-only packs or even function updates as part of the software update process.
You can receive version updates free of charge as part of a service contract.
Otherwise, we will be happy to send you an update offer for the latest version.
How do you know that a new update is available?
When the software is shipped, function is activated. You will be informed automatically when a new update is available.
This icon in the top right-hand corner of the ORCA Manager indicates available updates. You can also use it to check for yourself at any time whether your installed version is up to date. If an update is available, a wizard will guide you through the software update.
Your software is up to date
You receive this message if no new update has been found when manually checking for updates. In the message, you can get a hint about a new available ORCA AVA version.

The version number of your installed version is lower than the one of the new update:
Click the link for information about what is new in this update.
This message may contain further information, e.g. if a new ORCA AVA version is available (version update).
A check is performed to see whether all the requirements for installing the update have been met. The Check result is displayed in the next dialog.
