Data backup before update installations

Ongoing data backups prevent data loss! Use the occasion also for example before an update.

1. Saving individual projects or libraries in ORCA AVA:

   A) Explicitly:ORCA Manager | Kontextmenü: Sicherung erstellen (context menu| Create backup file) or in the open ORCA AVA file via File | Create backup..

   B) When opening files, depending on the settings, a backup file can be created automatically:
   .ORCA Manager |  | ORCA AVA | System: Datensicherung (Settings | ORCA AVA | System: Data Backup).

2. Data backup by means of your own systems/mechanisms, e.g. tape backup.

Data you have edited with a new program version can subsequently no longer be used with older program versions.
